It is full of the best nature, history and sights only to be seen by bike. You will see some spectacular landscapes, visit gorgeous castles & some of the most historical Czech towns and cities such as Prague, Tabor, Hluboka nad Vltavou and Cesky Krumlov. When you reach Cesky Krumlov you will be fascinated by this beautiful well-preserved unique medieval town.

Day 1 Prague - Tynec nad Sazavou: 50 km

Day 2 Tynec nad Sazavou - Tabor: 75 km

Day 3 Tabor - Hluboka nad Vltavou: 55 km

Day 4: Hluboka nad Vltavou - Cesky Krumlov: 45 km.

Recommended Itinerary for 5 biking days trip (235 km / 147 miles): 
Day 1 Prague - Velke Popovice: 40 km

Day 2 Velke Popovice - Tynec nad Sazavou - Sedlcany: 45 km

Day 3 Sedlcany - Tabor: 50 km

Day 4 Tabor - Hluboka nad Vltavou: 55 km

Day 1: meeting and preparations (Pre-trip)

The day before your trip starts we will meet at the bike shop. You will have the opportunity to test your bikes and equipment, go over your maps and route, discussing any last minute questions or adjustments you might have. We will make sure that you are ready for your cycling adventure!

Day 2: Prague - Pruhonice - Tynec nad Sazavou: 50 km/31 miles

You will leave Prague in the morning following the Vltava river through parks towards Pruhonice. In Pruhonice you will be able to explore the local neo-renaissance castle and admire the botanical garden and nature. As you come to Tynec nad Sazavou you will see many natural ponds and small lakes where you can cool down and have a swim. Tynec nad Sazavou is also known for the production of Jawa motorcycles. In Tynec or nearby you will have your first stop for the night.

Day 3: Tynec nad Sazavou - Sedlcany - Tabor: 70 km/43 miles

On day 3 you will continue south through the beautiful Czech countryside to the town of Sedlcany. Founded by the Hussites in 1420, there are many historical and cultural points to explore. During World War II, this town was previously occupied by Nazi forces and you can see a group of statues that commemorates the displacement of Czechs during this period. Your last stop for the day will be in the historical city of Tabor. 

Day 4: Tabor - Hluboka nad Vltavou: 55 km/34 miles

This day we will head towards Hluboka nad Vltavou where you will see one of Czech Republic's most magnificent chateaus. Founded by the kings of Bohemia in the mid 13th century, it was originally a castle, home to many fairy takes and even movies...it is a sight not to be missed! 

Day 5: Hluboka nad Vltavou - Cesky Krumlov: 45 km/28 miles

A short 15km ride from Hluboka, you will come to the larger city of Ceske Budejovice. It is known as the political, commercial and cultural center of the South Bohemia region and a home to one of the country's biggest breweries, the original "Budweiser"/Budvar Brewery. After Ceske Budejovice, there is a nice biking path which takes you 30 km southwest to Cesky Krumlov. As you enjoy the last part through the forests and nature, the fun is not over! Prepare yourself to accomplish one last hill! before arriving in Cesky Krumlov. It officially became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992 and is the second most visited town in the country, you will be able to relax and explore the city and admire its beauty and culture. 

Day 6: Cesky Krumlov

Time to relax and explore Cesky Krumlov. You will be fascinated by this beautiful well-preserved unique medieval town. It contains one of the biggest castle complexes in the country, a vibrant arts and culture scene with an extensive Egon Schiele Museum, a revolving summer theatre and several international music festivals!
After you can return to Prague, visit the Sumava National Park nearby or continue with your personal travel itinerary.

We will leave Prague following the river through the forests and nature away towards Pruhonice. In Pruhonice, you will be able to explore the local neo-­renaissance castle and admire the nature. After we will ride to Velke Popovice, famous for its Kozel brewery and restaurant with excellent Kozel beer. We will finish our 1st day of the trip at Tynec nad Sazavou. 

Day 3: Tynec nad Sazavou - Sedlcany: 45 km/29 mi

In Tynec nad Sazavou you will see many natural ponds and small lakes. Tynec nad Sazavou is also known for the production of Jawa motorcycles. Today you will bike through the beautiful Czech countryside to Sedlcany. 

Day 4: Sedlcany - Tabor: 50 km/31 mi

Today you will bike through the beautiful Czech countryside to Sedlcany. Your last stop for the day will be in Tabor. This town was founded by the Hussites in 1420, there are many historical and cultural points to explore.

Day 5: Tabor - Hluboka nad Vltavou: 55 km/34 mi

This day we will head towards Hluboka nad Vltavou where you will see one of Czech Republic's most magnificent chateaus. Founded by the kings of Bohemia in the mid 13th century and originally a castle, it is a sight not to be missed!  After you can carry on exploring the nature on your bikes.

Day 6: Hluboka nad Vltavou - Ceske Budejovice - Cesky Krumlov: 45 km/29 miles

After leaving Hluboka town and short ride of about 15 km you will come to the larger city of Ceske Budejovice. It is known as the political, commercial and cultural center of the South Bohemia region and a home one of the country's biggest breweries, the original "Budweiser"/Budvar Brewery. After Ceske Budejovice there is a nice biking path which takes you 30 km southwest to Cesky Krumlov. As you enjoy the last part through the forests and nature, the fun is not over -prepare yourself to accomplish one last hill! Once you reach Cesky Krumlov, the second most visited town in the country you will be able to relax and explore the city and admire its beauty.

Day 7 - Cesky Krumlov

Time to  relax and explore Cesky Krumlov. You will be fascinated by this beautiful well-preserved unique medieval town. We will pick you in the morning to return to Prague or continue with your personal travel itinerary.
