Difficulty Levels

 Biking Levels 

On each of the tours we indicate difficulty levels. But apart from challenge is always important to have fun and adjust your bike tour according to your abilities.

LEVEL 1 (easy) You have limited experience on a bike. You can control bike speed and direction on paved surfaces, but have little or no experience riding off-road terrain. 
LEVEL 2 (easy - moderate) You are capable of controlling bike speed and direction on paved surfaces, slightly uneven surfaces and not too busy city streets. You can ride at least 20 miles (32 km) per day. 
LEVEL 3 (moderate - strenuous) You have biking experience in the last few years. You are capable of controlling bike speed and direction on moderately steep hills, uneven surfaces and moderately busy city streets. You can ride at least 35 miles (55 km) per day. 
LEVEL 4 (strenuous - challenging) You are a strong and confident rider who is comfortable on steep hill, off-road terrain, uneven surfaces and moderately busy city streets. You can ride at least 50 miles (80 km) per day. 
LEVEL 5 (challenging) You are a strong and confident rider who is riding all types of terrain including long hills climbing, fast downhills, different off-road terrain, uneven surfaces and busy city streets. You can ride at least 70 miles (110 km) or more per day.
